Australia is actively seeking skilled migration, so that the immigrants can quickly
contribute to the betterment of the Australian economy. Department of Immigration
and Border Protection (DIBP) manage the application for Australian skilled visa via
their skillselect online service. To apply for Australian skilled visa you must first
submit an expression of interest (EOI) and then be invited by skillselect service.
Different eligibility criteria are there for different visa types, but some qualifying
Nominated occupation should be listed under SOL (Skilled Occupations List) or CSOL (Consolidated Sponsored Occupation List).
You should be under 50 years of age at the time of invitation by DIBP.
Proper skill assessment should be done. You should score a minimum of 60 points in total based on Education qualifications, etc.
Satisfactory score in language proficiency test.
Submit EOI and get invited by DIBP for skillselect assessment.
