Nova Scotia Provincial Nominee Program is a two-step immigration
process. At first stage, the government of Nova Scotia nominates
individuals after assessing if they really plan to settle down in Nova Scotia
and fulfill required eligibility criteria including age, educational
qualification, professional experience, etc. After receiving nominee
certificate, at second stage the nominee has to apply to Citizen and
Immigration Canada (CIC) for a Permanent Residence visa. It takes
around 12-15 months to process Nova Scotia PNP PR visa application.
